Liver Tonic Tincture

Wildcrafted and homegrown dandelion, chickweed, and burdock form a trine of spring tonic herbs that work to soothe, revitalize, tone, and detoxify the liver and gallbladder.  Ethically harvested from local organic farms, as well as cultivated from the Sacred Circle Herbal Garden, this 2 ounce liver tonic tincture is packed with potent herbs that decongest the liver, ease inflammation of the liver & gallbladder, improve digestive disorders, mildly stimulates bowels, and helps with chronic skin problems.  A good tincture to have on hand to ease-fully navigate the spring season, or to get yourself back into balance!

Medicinal Properties:
Our society has been conditioned to perceive dandelion, burdock, and chickweed as useless "weeds," yet in reality, they prove to be very potent and rich spring tonics that work to cleanse, tone, and detox our liver, gallbladder, and digestive systems.  Burdock has a slightly bitter taste, and is a mild stimulant to the bowels, and is effective in addressing chronic skin problems.  The roots are mildly stimulating to the liver as well.
Dandelion roots and leaves are excellent for decongesting the liver, keeping it from being overwhelmed by large amounts of hormones, especially if one is experiencing "stagnant liver chi."  Dandelion is a potent liver tonic herb, easing inflammation of the gallbladder, and improves the entire digestive process.  The leaves are also a wonderful diuretic, and it is a supportive herb for folks who are detoxing and recovering from alcohol abuse, or long term use of antibiotics.
Finally, chickweed is a cooling anti-inflammatory herb that contains saponins which increases the absorbability rate of nutrients and minerals.  Chickweed is also effective at eliminating fat cells, has anti-tumor properties, and is very high in Vitamin C & A.

How to Use:
Take one dropper full of the tincture 1 to 2 times per day, in between meals.  Keep stored out of direct sunlight, in a cool dry place.
